The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) has reported that Israeli soldiers abducted, overnight and on Monday at dawn, eleven Palestinians during invasions and violent searches of homes, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
The PPS office in Tulkarem, in northern West Bank, said the soldiers abducted five Palestinians, identified as Ribhi Adnan Hannoun, 21, Hisham Riyad Freij, 23, Anas Mahmoud Jayyousi, Aseemri Aahed Fawaz’a, 28, and Bashar Mahmoud Fawaz’a, 28.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Ammar Oleyyan, 24, and Yazan Obeid, from the al-‘Isawiya town, in addition to a third Palestinian, who remained unidentified at the time of this report, and was taken prisoner near the al-Aqsa Mosque after dawn prayers.
In addition, the soldiers abducted Moath Abdul-Nasser Hamed, from Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, in central West Bank.
The soldiers also abducted Husam Atef Sweilem, 24, from the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Another Palestinian, identified as Mohammad Taiseer Darras, was abducted from his home in Jericho.
